IH Artist Receives People's Choice Award

Congratulations to sophomore Rayne Lualhati, recipient of the “People’s Choice Award” at the 30th Congressional District Art Competition!
At the April 27 awards ceremony, Congressman Adam Schiff honored Rayne for her painting titled “Looking Back on Tomorrow.” Also selected to participate in this year’s exhibit were senior Maeve Keller and freshman Margot Setton.

“We are so proud of our three exhibitors,” said Caitlin Ross, chair of Immaculate Heart’s visual and performing arts department.

This was Congressman Schiff’s last year of staging the annual competition, and Immaculate Heart students have a long tradition of submitting their artwork every year, noted Ross.

Fantastic artwork by all of our Pandas!
