Carpool with GoKid

Simplify your IH commute with GoKid Carpooling!

Immaculate Heart is happy to partner with GoKid, a convenient solution for busy families looking to streamline transportation and build community connections. The platform helps parents easily find other families nearby to establish reliable carpools for school, after-school activities, and more. Using the school map feature, parents can identify good carpool matches and connect through the GoKid app, available on both iOS and Android. The app makes it simple to set up and manage carpools, offering features like customizable driving schedules that work for all participants, automated reminders to keep everyone on track, and live tracking for added peace of mind, ensuring you always know where your child is in transit.

With GoKid, sharing school rides becomes hassle-free, helping to reduce stress, save time, and keep your family safe while staying organized. To learn more about how it works, check out the GoKid website or apps, including this short demo.

More About GoKid

At GoKid, the mission is simple: to make student transportation easier, safer, and more sustainable. With just three easy steps, families can have a carpool set up and running:
  1. Find Your Carpool Group – Connect with other families from your school using the invitation email and the map view. You can chat with families to find out if it's a good fit.
  2. Schedule Rides – Set up a driving schedule that works for everyone using their Apps.
  3. Track and Manage – Use GoKid’s real-time tracking and flexible scheduling features to manage your carpool efficiently.
The safety-first carpool program not only helps families save time and reduce traffic but also strengthens community ties within your school.

A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
